Current• Directed three internally funded research programs on health AI, genome-wide association studies, and protein structure prediction for viral variants.• Provided technical leadership for a multi-institutional observational research study integrating clinical data from 160,000 patients and viral genomic data from 13,000 biospecimens.• Provided technical and strategic leadership for an initiative to (1) harmonize data from multiple health systems into common data models such as Sentinel and OMOP, and (2) implement multiple use cases for the harmonized data.• Developed strategies leveraging large language models to enhance data interoperability, incorporating SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm, and FHIR standards.• Honored with Program Recognition Award (2023), MITRE’s highest accolade for outstanding programs or projects.
