While I am most fluent as a "graphic designer" — in the languages of form, color, type, and visual space — these represent just one angle of the holistic approach I take to supporting a client’s strategic outreach or marketing goals. I am just beginning to claim the title of “brand strategist”, as I learn how to more effectively gather and apply insights to broader goals for my clients. I don’t quite think of myself as a “copywriter”, but I’m nearly always working with my clients to craft or refine their messaging. And I suppose I take for granted that I am a “project manager” or “general contractor”, because I am both naturally inclined to facilitate, and often collaborating with other specialists to better serve my clients’ goals.Through my role as a creative consultant/facilitator/partner, I am particularly intent on directing resources towards those who are working to build a more equitable and sustainable world. This includes prioritizing opportunities to collaborate with clients who serve and/or are led/owned by women or BIPOC individuals. When necessary, I offer my services pro bono to support clients like these, especially if they are volunteer-dependent or in a start-up phase.
