I work with the Sustainable Community Forestry Program (SCFP) to aid communities in 47 counties in Northeast Georgia with community forestry program planning and maintenance. I help municipalities and college campuses to fulfill requirements for recognition in the "Tree City, USA" and "Tree Campus, USA" programs. I also advise individual tree owners with tree healthcare or safety issues on their private property. These individuals are then referred to a consulting arborist if action is needed. The SCFP also aids municipalities in storm damage mitigation, contingency, and evaluation plans. Above all else, public education regarding urban tree care and community trees' importance and is my main goal.

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Extensive work with removal and pruning crews. Assisted with management/removal planning and implementation. Prepared trucks and equipment for upcoming service orders. Minor training with sales and operations management.

Athens, Ga

Duties included street tree inventory update in urban areas as well as unmanaged wooded areas in the county. Also aided in invasive species location and eradication, as well as aiding in county Greenspace information inventory.

Chattanooga, Tn

Duties included urban street tree inventory update and supplementation in Chattanooga's central business district, tree removal and replacement coordination, and aiding residents with urban forestry questions.

Coordinated and planned large events. Handled multiple financial transactions, and managed staff before, during and after events.
