Responsibilities include maintenance of the station technical plant as well as overall facilities and management of technology-related projects, including leading logistics planning for remote productions and operations. Lead a team of 6 maintenance engineers, 2 IT technicians, 13 production personnel, an IT manager, a security manager and a facilities manager, ranging in responsibilities from equipment and server maintenance, news production operations, safety and security, and capital project build out and implementation.The responsibilities of this position reach across departments in our local media company, serving our internal customers in News, Marketing and Sales.During a typical day, as with previous roles, I move seamlessly between long-term project planning that won't be acted on for several weeks or months to executing technical and procedural changes that will impact internal and external customers in mere seconds.
