I bring the depth and breadth of decades of software development experience to bear on a wide range of business problems. I've been telling computers what to do since I was a little kid. When I got all grown up, I decided to get paid for my hobby and haven't looked back. I started building web sites from scratch back when they called us "webmasters" and then went on to successfully build and deliver web applications for PG&E, on-premise enterprise software for Citibank, and SaaS solutions for VMware.I not only concern myself with what database to use, but also which datatype to use on that column, which HTTP verb to use for the endpoint that does an upsert on that table, which node package to use for making requests to that endpoint, and ... I think you get it. I know that not every problem is a nail. You should have started thinking about security yesterday. Skepticism is healthy, negativity kills. Don't avoid fixing a mistake just because you spent a long time making it. Don't optimize too early. And most importantly, be nice, the person you are talking to might be having a bad day. I recognize the importance of being both a team player and a leader when driving a project to completion.My excellent interpersonal skills will be beneficial to fostering relationships and productively communicating, whether amongst internal stakeholders or with partners. I'm a self-starter who spent 12 years at a start-up, beginning as a front-end engineer and departing as Director of Engineering. I absolutely love a good problem to solve, something I can chew on throughout the day, into the night and still be noodling the next morning, waiting for that exhilarating "a-ha!" moment.
