Engineering Internship
My role was to follow up and inspect the progress of the mechanical and electrical subcontractors enrolled by Abniah and report to the MEP of my firm.Responsibilities / Acquired experience:- Worked with mechanical and electrical subcontractors to deliver daily requirements on time.- Reported on the daily site progress to the MEP. - Engaged in checking different mechanical system for problems and errors.- Oversaw the installation of drainage systems, gas pipes, boiler rooms, water supply pipes, pumps installations, fresh air ducts, electrical (first, second and third) fixes, sanitary and radiators in the apartments. - Acquired basic knowledge of different insulation methods used on construction site (water and thermal insulation).- Learned effective ways to communicate with architects, civil engineers, subcontractors as well as the workers on site.
