Worked on an adaptive reuse project involving the conversion of a 130 year old mill building, St Gabriel Alte Muhle in a missionary complex to a tech start-up centre. Among other things, documented the site and created the 3d model. Building the host site from scratch in Revit was an education in how construction methods and materials have changed over the last century.

New Delhi Area, India

Converted apartment in Lodhi Hotel, New Delhi to an office space.Created look and feel for holiday homes in Shimla (situated on the foothills of the Himalayas) for Parkwood Estates Ltd (developers based in New Delhi). Provided floor plans, lighting and electrical drawings for 3 and 4 bedroom villas and 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Gurgaon, India

DeMuro Das is an AD50 firm in Gurgaon (now with a branch in New York as well), known for its work in high-end residential interior design and bespoke furniture. Handled all details of projects from initial conception to completion, under the Design Principal. Residences located primarily in South Delhi & The Magnolias in Gurugram, varying in size from 3000 sft to 9000 sft.Finalized interior wall, bathroom and furniture layouts with clients as per brief discussed. Created look and feel for projects in presentations with interior architectural elements, loose furniture references, sketches and finishes for all rooms and bathrooms. Prepared or supervised draftsmen in preparing working set drawings (civil, electrical, lighting, looping, plumbing, FC, RCP, bathroom elevations, flooring) for release to contractors. Designed custom millwork and loose furniture and handled delivery and installation for same. Researched and consulted with vendors for creating FF&Es. Coordinated with project consultants to ensure that their drawings / services were compliant with the rest of the project. Gave design direction to bedding, curtain & carpet vendors to see to it that the finished product was in concurrence with the space envisioned.Created drafting standards and procedures integrating every piece of furniture with the rest of the working drawings, such that the interior architecture and furniture worked seamlessly together, in conjunction with the Design Principal.

Handled all details of high-end residential, office and hospitality projects from preliminary concept till realization in conjunction with Architect Smriti Sachdev.Created themes, looks, presentations (with mood boards, material boards, rendered plans and elevations), accommodating diverse styles and budgets as per project requirement.Prepared or supervised draftsmen in preparing working set drawings (civil, electrical, lighting, looping, plumbing, FC, AV, RCP etc), detailed F.F.E.s and specifications. Designed custom millwork and loose furniture.Checked drawings from project consultants and vendors to ensure that their services were compliant with the rest of the project work. Interacted regularly with project managers to ensure specification adherence and to see that on-site issues were taken care of without delay.
