12+ years of experience in project controls, supply management and contract management. I graduated from California State University Fullerton with a BA in Business Administration and Finance in 2007 and have continued with my education through various training and classes including Government Contract Administration at the University of California Los Angeles as well as leadership and Project Management training.Worked at Jacobs Engineering for 10 years, holding different positions in Purchasing, Contracts Management and Project Controls. As a Lead Buyer, I supported several projects for the petrochemical and Data Center Industry with major Clients including Exxon-Mobil and Microsoft. I then transitioned into Contracts Management. In this position, I supported the contract administration for various Buildings and Infrastructure projects for the Western United States. During the last 4 years at Jacobs, I was given the opportunity to transition into the finance group. In this role, I was the dedicated Project Controls contact for various design, aviation and CM projects under the Jacobs Buildings & Infrastructure operation in Southern California. I joined Vanir Construction Management In 2017 as the dedicated Finance and Business Manager. As an essential member of the management team, I was responsible for providing business and operations support in an effort to grow the business in Los Angeles and Orange County. I was tasked with developing and implementing a monthly financial review process for the region, which created a platform for Project Managers and local leadership to discuss key project metrics, identify cost efficiencies and formulate solutions.In 2019 I co-founded Garcia & Company, a real estate investment company focusing on multi-family and rehab properties.
