Shadhan Kumar Das is a Development Practitioner and Researcher with an excellent academic track record in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), the Hague, the Netherlands and in Sociology from the University of Dhaka. He has almost 20-year hands-on programme, M&E and research experience in the areas of social democracy, governance, policy, political economy, health, population, and information delivery channels, LDC issues, higher education, empowering women, futures of work. Of them, his 9-year work with Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) as Programme Manager (Research and Policy) contributed explicitly to the policy changes in the areas of governance including administrative, electoral, public and private and judicial of Bangladesh. His innovativeness, insights, and mastery over research reflect in 21 research publications (both in English and Bangla). However, his expertise reckons in programme management and coordination, research and policy advocacy. His perspectives are expanded through frequent participation in national and international forums and meetings. He believes in team spirit and respects the diversity.
