Peter Shadix is a Hardware Design Engineer. Both designs had very stringent requirements - Peter performed well on the designs including the design/development/componet selection, design reviews (internal, PDR, CDR) , documentation/drawigns, PC Layout support, implementation, release, production support, test, and integration with the radios. He also designed and developed engineering and production test fixtures, test procedures, and associated test software. He was directly involved with the integration of the radios including integration of the radios into the customers systems. He was a proactive asset and definitely helped to make these programs successful. He also had the additional responsibility as a functional manager for managing support engineers and technicians - this included allocating and balancing these resources over various programs based on the comapny's staffing requirements, He was responsible for hiring and personnel reviews. He successfully demonstrated his ability to manage and maintain a good functional group."
