Graphics And Wayfinding Manager, Universal Studios, Epic Universe
I was recruited back to Universal Creative to work on the Epic Universe Theme Park on the Dark Universe Land. My responsibilities are to manage all interior and exterior design and fabrication of graphics and wayfinding in five facilities within the Dark Universe. I vetted perspective vendors and created a bidding process for those who were qualified. I interact daily with Construction Managers and vendors to ensure the facility impacts of my scope were captured in architectural drawings and in the field. Adjusting design files to meet changing needs by Creative Directors, Art Directors and Operations is something I do regularly. Being on site to manage and direct install is something I also do on a regular basis. Reading construction drawings and interacting with all skills on site helps to reduce unexpected facility impacts for my scope. I approve vendor payments, create change orders and monitor the budget of my scope.
