Current-Conducted an independent project on the analysis of the Empathic Accuracy (EA) and Moral Judgement (MJ) task in the Schizophrenic (SCOUT) population. -Conducted a preliminary analysis on the effects of impulsivity and reward sensitivity in Bipolar 1 (BRAINS) population. Presented findings at the 25th International Society for Bipolar Disorder Conference. -Analysis was done utilizing R Studio-Learned how to remove outliers from a data frame, regression models, anova tests, centering data, for loops, if statements, boxplots, histograms, vectorization, add columns into a data frame, export data frames as CSV, and correlate intervention results with respect to different time points and variables.-Observed fMRI testing in which tasks administered to the patient population involved inhibition, emotion regulation, reward, and focusing on relevant stimuli while ignoring irrelevant stimuli. -Observed clinical interviews and neuro-psychological testing-Applied knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology to understand experiments being conducted within the lab and those being presented in weekly meetings.-Expanded my knowledge and continue to learn more about neurological disorders.-Assisted with qualitative and quantitative data entry and data processing operations.-Gained familiarity with RedCap-Completed Safety Training for MRI Testing at Northwestern CTI-Provided assistance in a research study called “BRAINS”-Supported Principal Investigator and team members in this lab
