Worked as Lead Project Engineer GAS Unit with Design and Material Division of the Onshore Maintain Potential Projects Department. Worked as Lead Project Engineer for the design of Oil and Water wells for Northern Area (including QATIF, ABU-ALI, and BERRI) as well as for Southern Area (including ABQAIQ, KHURAIS, HAWTHT/NAYYEM). Responsibility includes having design completed correctly; with quality and the design IFC packages are given to Construction so that construction is completed on time. Extensive dealing with the Design Contractor such as Jacob Zate, AMCDE-KBR, SNC LAVLIN & ZUHAIR FAYEZ (SLFEE), and MUSTANG & HAJILAN (MHDP). • All fields under Saudi Aramco was developed with the implementation of Corrosion Inhibitor System. • Online Testing of the Crude Oil, Scrapping Facilities System, Dedicated SCADA System, ESD System.• Pipeline Risk Assessment System, Pipeline Leak Detection System, Flushing Water System.• Supporting by small and very large diameter externally and internally Coated Piping/Pipeline System.• Quality check / Squad check of Typical Drawings, Alignment Sheets and crossing details preparation.• Prepared integrity concerns with the pipeline crossings at highways and with other pipelines.• Performed and coordinated activities that included Scope of work preparation and Cost Estimation.• Assisted client in filing regulatory approvals from Railroad, Highway authorities and registering pipeline modifications.• Vendor’s Technical evaluation for purchasing pipeline materials including pipe, induction bends, Anchor Flange and Isolation kit.

Worked as Senior Project Engineer on the $10 Billion Project to increase Northeastern Sirte Basin of Libya production from 200,000 BLPD to 1,200,000 BLPD by 2012. Provided design, construction, and project management expertise for the facilities, equipment, and pipelines of the Nafoora Oil Field. Also prepared Bid Documents for the Facilities Base Line Survey and Environmental Base Line Survey.

Worked on the Detailed engineering of Fort Hills Delivery System (FDHS): a 490 km 36” and 20” diameter pipeline transporting diluted bitumen and diluents; an ancillary pipeline system between up-grader and Edmonton consisting of 3 smaller diameter pipelines. Worked on Engineering survey, Line Sweeping survey, and AC Mitigation survey.. The scope also included providing the development of class-III estimate for 42 inch diluted bitumen pipeline and 24-inch diluents pipeline approximately 500 km in length

Worked on various modernization and up-gradation projects for Kuwait Oil Company. Pipelines ranging from 60 inch to 10 inch on different projects. Water Injection Project in north of Kuwait. New Booster Station BS-160 in southeast of Kuwait, New Gathering Center 24 in south of Kuwait including installation of new Slug Catcher. Designed tie-in connections for two new pipelines of 42” and 30” for the project NK Apples.Prepared Scope of Work for pipelines / piping with necessary drawings, reviewed the calculations, P&IDs, and Isometrics.

Worked on El Khoms – Tripoli, Libya Project: A 34” diameter 157 km long Gas Transmission Pipeline including two Turbo-compressor Stations. Prepared contract documents, design calculations, data sheets and drawings for this EPC project of $150 MM. Also issued a report for Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Coating damage to the 34-inch diameter pipeline.

Project Lead for several oil and gas pipeline projects including replacement of 30” diameter pipeline (due to the development of Stress Corrosion Cracking) in Prince George area. Preparing scope of work, DBM, cost estimate, schedule, hydrostatic tests procedure. Prepared regulatory applications to National Energy Board for various pipeline projects like Murray River, Sukunka pipeline, Grizzly Pipeline system modification and La-Biche River crossing using HDD method.

Worked in Kuwait/Iraq on Halliburton’s Project for Restoration of Iraqi Oil (RIO) for the gas and oil separation facilities including MISSAN (an oil field south of Iraq having nine degassing stations, one refinery, and one pumping station), MAJNOON oil field facilities (having two, degassing stations), WEST QURNA (three degassing stations) and TUBA TANK FARM (big storage and pumping facility).

Responsible for managing all aspects of engineering, design, construction, inspection and project management for pressure vessels and piping including liaison with regulatory bodies in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. The designed products included large and small diameter, 2 and 3 phase separators, scrubbers, Tee-Type separators, and pulsation bottles as per the ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1 and the ASME B31.3.

Managed projects and designed pressure vessels such as Separators, FKO drums, Line heaters, process piping, and Storage Tanks per the ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1, ASME B31.3, and API codes as well as responsible for the inspection of the pressure vessels. Liaison with Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia regulatory authorities and clients for all process, design and engineering matters.
