- Represent both postgraduate taught and research students (7,000+) of UCC.- Serve on the SU Executive and key university committees, including the UCC Governing Authority.- Contribute to important discussions and decisions that impact the student community.

Major responsibilities:==============1. Run the month-end and year-end financial closure procedures for Retail Business of Bank to enable preparation of financial statements as per Group and local accounting standards and these include, inter alia, preparation and posting of adjustment entries in relation to fee income measurement and recognition, loan impairment, yield-enhancing fees, etc.2. Facilitate financial reconciliation and balance substantiation of designated balance sheet accounts. 3. Ensure adherence to Group accounting policies and local statutory requirements with particular attention to accounting for interest and fee income, reward programme for credit card customers and loan impairments of retail business products.4. Perform SPPI tests, IFRS changes adoption, facilitate system development required for accounting policy changes. 5. Prepare retail banking financial reporting pack and quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial information, variance and trend analysis, commentary drafting, etc. for senior management. 6. Financial modeling relating to preparation and revision of budget and subsequent forecast pack in light of Group Standard approved assumptions and drivers for Management decision making.7. Work with Business/ Product Partners to obtain high-level assumptions on sales volume, capacity increase, product pricing, etc. to use as inputs for budgeting and forecasting exercises.8. Perform financial simulations and impact analysis for emerging changes in regulations, sales volume, pricing, and fund transfer pricing, etc. 9. Assess the financial viability of new sales effort etc., perform financial cost-benefit analysis, break even, IRR, NPV calculation, etc. to help Business choose between alternative projects.10. Provide commentary and analysis on month-on-month performance and variance against the budget/ forecast for consideration of Business Head, CFO, and Management Team.
