As the executive responsible for strategy and operations, I am in charge of leading and directing the operations of each practice location, all growth initiatives, board and administrative structures, policy and procedure development, new service offerings, technology advancements, and financial proposals.

Paladin Healthcare is the parent company of Avanti Hospitals, a 4-hospital system based in Los Angeles, CA, and the management company overseeing the daily operations of Howard University Hospital, Washington DC.

• Reported directly to CEO & COO to gain experience with operational management of 359 bed facility• Supported in the establishment of the DaVinci Robotic Surgery service line, producing minimally invasive surgery volume of 150 cases YOY• Implemented best practice solutions for bed management and patient throughput using Lean 5S and Kaizen methods, generating nursing productivity improvement of 2+hours/day• Created a structured system of department rounding for Senior Management, improving visibility, communication, and understanding of department roles• Performed hospital-wide rotations and attended key management meetings including Board of Directors, Senior Leadership & Management Team, MEC, Quality Care Committee
