1.Primary duty was to look after the receipts of income by way of consultation fees, preparation of bills for various Lab tests, hospital charges for surgical and stay charges (discharge summary).2.Used to prepare Monthly payroll of the employees and as there was no transfer of salaries to employees bank accounts I personally was responsible to hand over salary to the employees as cash.3.Looking after employees attendance and their leaves and just in case if there were any leaves beyond approved two days of leave in a month I was responsible to mark those extra leaves under LOP.4.I was also given additional authority to look after all petty expenses with regards to the cleanliness of hospital, supply of purified drinking water etc and act a as a floor manager in addressing the queries of patients.5.At the end of the day I have to prepare a balance sheet of all the receipts of income less expenses if any paid on behalf of hospital and submit the same to my senior accountant who looks after all the other financial aspects of the organization who reports to the auditor in charge of the Hospital.6.For the petty cash payments every month an amount of 20k will be deposited to my account with which I look after the daily needs of Hospital.8.Also I was partially responsible to look after the expansion (construction) work going in and around the hospital premises. Challenges were like as there was no back up for me I was whole and sole responsible for all the duties I was assigned with and hardly I used to avail leaves except for sick and festival. During my absence my senior accountant used to look after my responsibilities.
