My interest in UI/UX started when I realized my passion for generating ideas and finding solutions to users' challenges by crafting designs that would be able to help them with their needs. While studying computer science, I was initially viewing programming as the main career path that I wanted to be involved in. Later, when I came across this concept of UI/UX, I was interested in exploring the area. Through university training, I gained a core level of understanding of user experience. It felt very academic and narrow-scoped to me, so I moved further with programming. As my skill set evolved into becoming a full-stack and then front-end developer, an opportunity arose during the events in Gaza: it was an inspiration to build a website that portrayed the history and culture concerning the land of Palestine. I brought this idea to life by trying Figma for the very first time, designing the site before coding it. That opened my eyes to the world of UI/UX design, and I found myself in love with the combination of design and functionality together. From that day forward, I knew I wanted to do UI/UX design.Currently, I hold a very good grade in computer science and a certificate as a software developer from ASAC. Regarding the ui/ux field, I got a certificate from Edraak by Ahmed Al-Hawari and another one in the fundamentals of user experience design, UX from Google.
