Main responsibilities:-• Lead the overall Well Site Safety, work site control and well plan execution of Drilling, Completion, Work Over and Well testing programs.• Ensure that all operations are in accordance with Operator policy and regulatory environmental compliance.I was looking after complete operations of land rig (2000hp) as a well site engineer/POL representative for drilling deep exploratory and directional wells in Northern Potohar region. Responsible for implementation of well plans, preparation of day to day operation plans like drilling, casing, cementing, Wire line, TLC logs, well control, monitoring daily well cost and reporting on DIMS/OPENWELL to management. Performance and service quality observation of drilling contractor and all service providers. Worked as a senior drilling supervisor for a long time span in absence of senior drilling supervisor. Ensure compliance with well programme step by step and liaison with drilling superintendent/operations drilling engineer. • Accountable for daily report preparation.• Supporting the Senior Drilling Supervisor during any phase of the operation requiring extra supervision (rig move, Liner operations, Side tracking, landing cementing, casing tallies, logging, etc).• Accountable to coordinate, during the night shift, the continuous work and maintenance of drilling related equipment, in accordance with procedures, to ensure safe and efficient operation.• Supporting the Senior Drilling Supervisor to take prompt action, in the event of an emergency within the drilling package, to safeguard life and minimise damage to properties and any detrimental effect on the environment.• Supporting the Senior Drilling Supervisor for achieving operations programme objectives.• Accountable to coordinate, during the night shift, the collection of all data to be transmitted back to the base office, and to ensure the correctness, content and quality of such data.• Lead operational incidents/failure investigations.
