I am a third year psychology student at Leeds Beckett University, currently seeking to undertake a graduate position as a research assistant.Throughout my degree, the modules I have covered such as Drug Addiction and Behavioural Neuroscience have enhanced my interest in the biological aspect of psychology. Due to this experience, I am hoping to progress to postgraduate study in a neuroscience-related subject. As neuroscience is an area surrounded in research, I have honed my research skills through my modules at university and as a research assistant to one of my lecturers. Outside of academics, I have partaken in several extracurriculars, most notably, my volunteering experience in Fiji. I participated as a volunteer in the Youth Empowerment project in the summer of 2023, learning about Fijian culture while also delivering workshops around public health and business.As of now, I am a student ambassador at my university, where I promote the university to prospective students.
