Shane Barr is the Chief Revenue Officer globally at TAG and has been with company for over a decade. As a global leader, Shane has overall responsibility for all new sales, business development, account management and marketing in all regions for TAG’s growing portfolio of entertainment and corporate clients.Since joining TAG in 2012, Shane has been instrumental in establishing the Australian office and under his leadership, TAG has seen remarkable growth and success across the APAC region.During his tenure Shane has overseen the establishment of TAG’s production department and successful launches of offices in Singapore and New Zealand. With the most recent strategic business acquisitions in Australia and New Zealand leading to substantial business expansion. Shane currently sits on the Board of Directors of CT Partners, the largest independent travel buying network in Australia comprising 31 of the largest independent corporate travel management firms and premium leisure agencies, with a combined turnover in excess of $2 billion and growing.In a career spanning over 20 years in the travel industry, Shane has operated a privately owned travel company in the UK as well as headed up Corporate and Sports Travel for an Irish based firm. Sports, particularly Rugby is Shane’s passion, and he has been privileged to have worked alongside many European soccer teams and Rugby International sides, including consulting on the 2011 Rugby World Cup here in Australia.
