With The Chanticleer, Averett University's student published news magazine, I specialize in layout design, news and feature writing, as well as leadership skills with the staff of approximately 15 students. I also review stories, and edit them to work with our layout specifications.

For the Fall 2012 semester at Averett University, I was an IDS Peer Instructor for the Freshman Student Success class that helped new students adjust to college life. I serveral classes on my own and had a group of about 15 students. I gave them organizational tips, study tips, and any other advice to make their first semester at college a successful one.

At Photography By Lisa, I assist the photographer, Lisa Carter. I assist her by setting up lighting equipment, helping her carry photography equipment and also interacting with clients. On some sessions I am a second shooter and capture the shot at a different angle from the main focus.
