In my role at Mind Spring, I take the lead on projects to effectively bring technology and business processes together by understanding the needs and limitations of each. A major aspect of this position is teamwork and collaboration - meeting with end users to perform needs analysis and develop requirements for new or existing projects, identify risks to the system, and design the data system that not only solve for the project at hand, but are forward looking and scalable. Innovation and creativity are fundamental attributes to this position, as problem solving on a broad scale often requires. Quick thinking and multitasking are important in this role, as I’m often called on for Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis. Additionally, maintaining skills including an understanding of data modeling techniques, effective communication with technical/non-technical staff/stakeholders, documenting technical designs and specifications, code writing, KPI development, and graphical design are critical. Integrity and collaboration in this role is key. End users, auxiliary users, and my internal team are all at the table throughout the timeline of a project. Product validation, whether it's a piece of code, report, or visualization, is a vital component to effective and efficient project management. As part of this position it is my responsibility to develop testing strategies to validate solutions and stay aware of all project benchmarks and deadlines. I'm experienced in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), instruction manuals for end users, and training users on new software. I'm highly proficient in SQL, Tableau (dashboard building), Crystal Reports, and other reporting software. This goes hand-in-hand with staying informed of new technology trends in order to identify new methodologies that can be used by the organization.

Use data visualization software (Tableau) to tell the story of the data and make it more consumable to our partners and the community at large. Perform program evaluation based on primary and secondary data, then make recommendations to increase quality and performance; this occurs both internally and with outside partners. Community Health Assessments and Health Impact Assessments that amend internal and county policy; heavy use of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing were performed often during these assessments. Investigate health indicators and follow through with logical, concise conclusions. Integrate new technology into standard practices to improve efficiencies. Evaluated multiple environmental health toolkits designed to aid public health in the wake of any number of natural and man-made emergencies. Assess community environmental health gaps, both in Colorado and the Nation.

I ran the daily operations of the restaurant; including, management of the staff, the dining room and bar, and costomer service.

I participated in the rearing and maintenance of a number of insect and plant populations for use in biological pest and weed management.
