Serving as a member of the Law School's senior leadership team, the Senior Associate Dean for Admissions, Financial Aid and Student Services is responsible for all aspects of the School's professional (J.D.) admissions process including development and execution of strategic enrollment plan; recruitment, selection, enrollment and retention of a highly qualified and motivated student body; and the integration of marketing and recruitment strategies with existing and developing communications and social networking technologies. This position is responsible for the leadership, management, and overall performance of the Admissions and Financial Aid staff. In addition, the Sr. Associate Dean oversees the Law School's professional financial aid functions which include awarding and disbursement of annual scholarships and grants and administration of the Law School’s loan forgiveness program. In collaboration with the Law School's Director of Financial Aid, the Sr. Associate Dean partners with the university's central Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment to administer the university's student employment as well as federal and private loan programs for Law School students. This position also works closely with the Dean of Students to provide strategic direction to the DOS staff on all aspects of counseling and student case management. The Sr. Associate Dean also serves as the primary point of contact for the faculty Administrative Committee in their deliberations on ADA accommodations, leave of absences, and academic deficiency determinations, and is the officer of record for character and fitness certification to bar authorities.

Responsible to coordinate and collaborate with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to ensure that institutional policies are developed, implemented and updated as needed. Working with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, coordinate and oversee ABA variance reporting, ABA site visits and associated reporting. The Associate Dean serves as a principal contact person for the law school. With the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, serves as a liaison for the Dean and the law school on human resources matters involving law school personnel. Responsible for monitoring proposed revisions to the ABA Standards. Coordinates and manages the implementation and execution of innovation strategies, including preparing reports for approval by relevant accrediting bodies and the University of New Hampshire.

Leader for the Naval Justice School (NJS), headquartered in Newport, RI, with satellitecampuses in San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA serving as the Navy’s legal education andtraining center. NJS employs 70 faculty and staff that successfully conducts, on an annualbasis, over 40 in-resident and distance learning courses for more than 3,900 studentsincluding Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard judge advocates, paralegals, and executiveleaders throughout the career training continuum. Executes an operations, training, andfacilities budget of $3 million annually while preparing five-year strategic budget plansforecasting future needs. Also serves as the Chief of Navy Legal Education and Trainingresponsible for the oversight, management, and execution of training for the Navy’s 2,400legal professionals.
