I was responsible for the daily operations of the store which included the following duties: daily and monthly sales and collection goals, scanning and reconciling weekly inventories, closing lease agreements with customers daily, scheduling deliveries with customers daily, negotiating payment plans with customers daily, assuring customer satisfaction daily, managing a team of employees to include writing weekly schedules and following up on job performance, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and firing of employees, and above all, making sure that my store was successful and profitable.

I performed daily collection activities including calling customers and repossessing merchandise when it was necessary. I delivered merchandise daily to customer's homes and /or businesses. I was responsible for completing the daily sales program and provided customer service including merchandise repair and addressing customer complaints. I maintained an aesthetically pleasing showroom of merchandise. I also periodically performed store manager duties which included: tracking store performance by preparing a monthly profit log and daily reports, resolved customer concerns by exploring mutually beneficial arrangements, ordered merchandise for the showroom and customer demands, supervised a team of employees to include monthly evaluations and weekly schedules, and conducted initial interviews with new applicants.
