● Led development team on the TRICARE Beneficiary Portal (uhcmilitarywest.com). Key deliverables included: * Designed the physical data model to support all functions of the application - logon, member registration, user profile, delegated access, provider search, and reference data. * Designed and implemented the consumer Web Service layer. * Designed and implemented LDAP data layer. * Designed and implemented interfaces to support registration, logon, login assistance, DS Logon SSO, email notifications, and eligibility. * Integrated the identity and access management SiteMinder Agent.

● Designed and implemented core functionality for the OptumHealth eSync Platform. Development responsibilities included implementation of an outbound and inbound SSO process, integration with the identity and access management. SiteMinder agent, private and public member registration, migration of public membership to the private platform (myoptumhealth.com), login assistance features, member logon, producer web service layer, spring security integration, eligibility verification, segmentation, Maven pom refactor, capability driven presentation layer, and Hibernate refactor.

● Designed and implemented numerous interfaces on the TRICARE Beneficiary Portal. Development responsibilities included creating detailed technical specifications following standards and patterns established by the UJAF (United Java Architecture Framework) application framework, UML modeling, Web Service integration, and JUnit leveraging EasyMock. Developed interfaces to provide Beneficiaries access to their Claims, Authorizations, Referrals, and Health Plans. In addition, implemented self-service functions for Login Assistance - forgot password, forgot username, and security question maintenance.

● Assisted the Ovations Client Portal team with Web Service integration. Service integration was on the consumer side, development included leveraging XMLBeans, SoapUI and Spring Web Services. The Ovations Client Portal used the AquaLogic User Interaction (ALUI) suite of tools to create portals and composite applications to be packaged and deployed to the Websphere Application Server (WAS).

● Developer on the UJAF (United Java Architecture Framework) architecture team. Developed a common application component to service the Call Center for tracking Contact History. The module is leveraged to capture key service metrics, call history, data collection, and assist in managing operating costs.

● Developed Call To Activate (CTA) functionality providing perspective membership easier enrollment. Automated inbound file load of prospective members, developed a prospect data scrub process, implemented a purge process to remove expired prospects, enhanced call center membership search functionality, provided Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) functionality and support Web Services. Additionally, worked on enhancing the membership billing interface, refactored Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) enrollment and payment system interface and enhanced the fulfillment engine.

● Worked on multiple interfaces that covered both inbound and outbound file processing: Claims, Provider Remittance Advice (PRA), Explanation of Benefits (EOB), Treasury, Galaxy, CCI, and ICES on the Administrative platform. Responsibilities included Development, UML modeling, Process Flows, Business Requirements, Configuration Parameters, and Data Mapping.
