Managed the procurement, onboarding and carrier performance of Wayfair’s full truckload carrier partners. Initiated outreach of potential carrier partners, vetting their capabilities and fit againstWayfair’s needs. Lead procurement activities including the writing and executionof RFPs, pricing analysis and negotiation as well as lane awards. Designed and implemented carrier score carding and weekly performance review calls. Contributed to the composition of transportation service and service level agreements and negotiated over 60 of these contracts to cover every carrier partner.Cross functionally project managed with legal, product, EDI, Supply Chain Analytics andother teams to onboard all of Wayfair’s FTL carriers and conducted rate management inTMS. Developed Wayfair’s carrier portfolio from 1 active FLT carrier in 2015 to 40 in2018. Facilitated the conversion of LTL movements to FTLs. Worked with internal teams to design homegrown tools for the operational execution ofa network running ~25,000 truckloads in 2017. Trained colleagues to take on theresponsibilities of carrier management and rate management.Worked in the Operational Excellence team to grow Wayfair's network of dedicated final mile carriers in cities throughout the US.
