Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:► Work with other site team members to ensure project objectives and targets are achieved in alignment with Hutchies’ objectives.►To help implement and coordinate on a daily basis, Hutchies’ WHS management plan, project risk assessments, safe work method statements (SWMS) and completion of checklists with all levels of the site management team and workers.►To advise the Site Management about the overall state of health and safety at the workplace, using the appropriate processes contained within the WHS management plan.►To conduct and record inspections at the workplace to identify and rectify any hazards and unsafe situation or unsatisfactory workplace health and safety conditions and practices .►To implement safety awareness training for the site including site inductions, toolbox talks, advising workers on safe work practices and their health and safety obligations.►To investigate all work injuries, work caused illnesses and dangerous events at the workplace.►To constantly monitor and review whether the correct safety works methods are being following and to advise all levels of site management and subcontractors any deficiencies.►To provide technical advice to all levels of site management and subcontractors and advise them on how to discharge their health and safety obligations to reduce the risk of injury and illness to workers and members of the public.►Liaise with safety committee members in promoting continuous commitment, attitude, and culture to maintaining and encouraging safe work practices.►Management and maintenance of the safety management system on the project.►Revision and acceptance of subcontractor’s safety documentation.►Incident reporting, recording and investigations in consultation with project and site management. ►Management of first aid facilities, training, and records on the project.
