I'm a self taught programmer, with a bachelors degree in Environmental Science. Over the last 5 years I've been working as an Industrial Automation Programmer. During that time I've taught myself a suite of programming languages and used them to create projects that have helped to solve problems for my employer as well as myself.After working with my previous employer for 3 years I was allowed a leave of absence. When I was backpacking through Vietnam I decided to create a travel blog for myself. This was the beginning of my passion for programming. When I returned to my employer I started using Python to solve repetitive data recording tasks in our workplace. I approach everyday problems in a logical manner and ask how can I make this task easier through programming.We're lucky enough to live in a time where nearly infinite learning resources are available to us. I thrive on using these resources to explore new concepts and broaden my knowledge base.I'll never stop learning and I'll always continue to create.
