This has resulted in a 100 percent success rate in coralation with the departments annual inspections• Implemented an annual fire prevention program that specifically targeted fire safety and awareness to individuals ranging from kinder garden to the high school levels. This program increased community relations expeditiously, by coordinating with three schools. One of them being an international elementary school. To include the entire Okinawa region of Girl Scouts. The outcome of these events has provided a necessary relationship that has had a tremendous impact that continues to spread throughout the local populous, thus promoting fire safety.• Successfully certified over 60 emergency service personnel in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC) Course. This increased the productivity and competence within the department by providing the crucial support needed to maintain emergency operations and the required training certifications.• Conducted a joint operations exercise by acting as the Incident Commander for an emergency vehicle extrication exercise while working with the local fire department. This created a strong cohesion between each department that has given the insight required to develop and implement new strategies and techniques to help each other if an emergency should arise. -
