• Instructed and certified 60 Marines by implementing the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) Program for three types of emergency response vehicle apparatuses in accordance with all standards and directives.• Conducted multiple training events through visual and practical application on, driver training, testing procedures, vehicle/aircraft extrication and Hazmat simulations within reference to the NATOPS Manual, IFSTA Manual, NAVAIR Manual, and Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Standard Operating Procedures. • Established crew assignments, delegated daily tasks and collaborated with higher officials on future projects. • Supervised and conducted the daily servicing/inspection of ten ARFF apparatuses and five non-emergency light duty vehicles to include all emergency rescue equipment ranging to over 1,000,000 dollars’ worth of assets.• Orchestrated and over saw 25 Live Fire and Extrication Training evolutions on the Mobile Aircraft Fire Training Device (MAFTD), automotive vehicles and a 20,000 gallon fire training pit. • Have established myself as an experienced and effective Incident Commander by responding to a variety of aircraft emergency mishaps, hazardous materials spills and medical emergencies.

This has resulted in a 100 percent success rate in coralation with the departments annual inspections• Implemented an annual fire prevention program that specifically targeted fire safety and awareness to individuals ranging from kinder garden to the high school levels. This program increased community relations expeditiously, by coordinating with three schools. One of them being an international elementary school. To include the entire Okinawa region of Girl Scouts. The outcome of these events has provided a necessary relationship that has had a tremendous impact that continues to spread throughout the local populous, thus promoting fire safety.• Successfully certified over 60 emergency service personnel in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC) Course. This increased the productivity and competence within the department by providing the crucial support needed to maintain emergency operations and the required training certifications.• Conducted a joint operations exercise by acting as the Incident Commander for an emergency vehicle extrication exercise while working with the local fire department. This created a strong cohesion between each department that has given the insight required to develop and implement new strategies and techniques to help each other if an emergency should arise.

• Trained as a roof turret operator initially but was quickly promoted to hand line operations, rescue team, and driver operator. This gave me a firm foundation that has played a vital role towards my future accomplishments in the fire fighting industry.• Responded to numerous medical calls ranging from chemical burns, crush victims, falls and large lacerations, resulting with no loss of life or harm to property and environment.• Aided the Section Leader in his absence, ensuring that all standards and directives were followed and conducted accordingly. Such tasks; were personnel management, emergency operations, record management and Logistics.• Responded to multiple incidents and emergencies involving but not limited to UH-1, AH-1, CH-53E, C-130, C-5, C-17, F-18• Provided mutual aid to outside agencies located in San Diego, Ca. pertaining to an industrial fire requiring additional AFFF foam application.• As a Material Chief, I was in charge of over 1,000,000 dollars in emergency assets by servicing, purchasing, testing, maintaining, filing and record keeping of all essential documentation.

• I was a Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic before conducting a lateral move to Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting. My job consisted of maintaining and serving all vehicles to ensure optimal performance on the battle field.• Conducted security patrols, resupply convoys, forward operational missions and training protocols.• Conducted vehicle and personnel searches of Iraq Nationals and Third Country Nationals at randomly selected control points.
