Atlas we used to be Pavetex - Working to continue the excellence of building and improving the roadway infrastructure in Texas and up in my construction journey! I have over 32 years working on roadway construction / maintenance. Currently I oversee Roadway and Bridge Construction projects in the Odessa District. Odessa, Midland, Stanton, Fort Stockton, Pecos, Orla, Mentone, Crane, Andrews etc. Currently I have 6 on going and a few more starting soon. We work hard to inspect and test and make sure Texas gets a quality project completed in a safe and timely manner. Working with TxDOT and contractors daily partnering to build our infrastructure. I worked for CP&Y. Sr. Chief Inspector on TxDOT Projects for 3 years. My last project was in the Odessa District. SH 302 Highway between Mentone and Pecos. Closed the Dalhart project out in great fashion. All paperwork and Audits went well and we received good high marks on the project. 1st project in Abilene rides great and quality Work completed and then Dalhart. So 2 for 2 on getting the job done. I work hard and care about my projects since my name is on it. I Love my job. Quality work in a safe and timely manner is how I like it. I worked hard for TxDOT for 25 years. I Referee High School and College Basketball. I love this part of my life and would not trade it for anything!!! I love the fellowship of the people I work with and also getting to know different people and the travel. I am on the road most of the time either with Referee or my job!
