In this role I focus on development opportunities, technology evaluations, feed stock diversification, and site-wide process improvements. I complete Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and preliminary project economics to ensure quality opportunities progress as necessary. I assist the operations team with issues that are longer term to allow them to focus on the daily needs of the plant.

In this role I perform process improvements, equipment upgrades, design improvements, process troubleshooting, process equipment specification, and manage small to medium capital projects. I am a lead technical support on major capital projects. I also support all PSM activities for my units which include Technical Lead in PHAs, MOC Championing, Developing Operating Procedures, and Training/Engagement. My Units of responsibility include Crude Distillation, Distillate and Lube Hydrotreater, Naphtha Hydrotreater, Reformer, Isomerization, and Gasoline Blending.I currently organize and manage gasoline production targets and blending using kinetic and inventory modeling, that was specifically designed for the facility. I was the technical lead on a more robust crude blending model for feedstock qualification and manage the developed blending calculator and process simulator.I also have experience in Propane Deresining (ROSE), MEK Dewaxing, Waste Water Treatment, Flare Operations, and Lo Cat Fuel Gas Desulfurization. I have provided process and project support for these areas.

Evaluated the use of the Organic Rankine Cycle for waste heat recovery on off shore oil rigs for power generation.

University Park, Pennsylvania

Assisted in optimizing crystal growth, and batch reactor for production of liquid preservative. Also developed SOPs for use of a new mechanical pelletizer.Work was completed in the analysis lab using HPLC and particle size analyzer. Both were used in the previously mentioned project.
