About Shane Weber

With 16 years of experience in the aviation industry, both military and civil, I believe I have considerable knowledge and perspective to offer your company and its customers.I have been working for the past two years as a flight instructor. Within a few months of instructing I was approached by the chief instructor of the schools CFI Academy to cover his class on the weekends, which I proudly did. Teaching groups of CFI candidates put my knowledge to the test and allowed me to gain valuable insights from students with varied training backgrounds.A few months later I was asked to become a check instructor. As a check instructor I was filled with a great sense of accomplishment as I saw the training I did in the CFI academy being passed down to the students of the instructors I had trained. I was proud to see the feedback I gave instructors be implemented to create a better training environment. As a customer service manager and recruiter for the pilot training program partnership between Broward College and National Aviation Academy I learned what is required to keep customers happy and engaged. I learned to create a positive learning environment where customers felt their needs and concerns were being met which resulted in high student retention.From my experience as a maintenance planner and later an invoice analyst at Bombardier I have experience in the fast paced world of 135 operations and their customers expectations. I understand the high demands placed on operators and can engage with customers in ways that leave them feeling like their expectations are not only being met but are being exceeded.
