Research Analyst
CurrentResearch analyst in the AmeriCorps Office of Research and Evaluation-Clean, validate, and analyze data from the AmeriCorps Member Exit Survey (MES), a survey completed by 50-60,000 members annually. Assess demographic, programmatic, and thematic trends over time and communicate findings via reports and presentations-Manage grant portfolio of over 20 research grantees, closeout expired grants in accordance with federal standards and practices, serve as liaison between ORE and grantees-Serve as a day-to-day supervisor for interns and graduate fellows, teaching basic program evaluation methods and concepts and approving work-Spearheaded the redesign of the Office of Research and Evaluation’s internal and external facing SharePoint sites; reorganize existing document libraries to improve efficiency and interoperability with contractors and other agency offices-Developed employee focus group protocol and data collection instruments to inform an internal evaluation of the agency’s regionalization process, conducted said surveys and focus groups, and synthesized findings across all levels of employee seniority into cohesive and actionable reporting
