Collaborated with my Design Lead from concept through DD phases of a mixed-use neighborhood in Dallas, where I assisted with: the massing and site design of three blocks of townhomes, exterior material selections, unit layouts and mix, and balanced space efficiency with usability. Worked with Design Lead to compile site development package. Acted as a BIM coordinator assisting with the management of REVIT models where I researched and found solutions to model issues, managed / curated sheets, continually updated REVIT families / templates, and helped ensure company graphic and design standards were applied consistently. Detailed vertical circulation sections, building plans, site plans, elevations, and wall sections for final DD set. Calculated spot elevations and site slope to establish slab FFE’s. Assisted Design Lead in ensuring window patterns and sizes meet the code requirements for maximum allowable percentage for wall openings. Utilized urban design skills to redesign main pedestrian spaces and paths.

Collaborated within Page’s Government / Urban Design studio on a variety of institutional, civic, nonprofit, and healthcare projects. My role often involved working simultaneously o urban and architectural initiatives. I also assisted in updating the studio wide manual detailing work-flow processes for Rhino, Revit, Illustrator, and InDesign. Beyond my design role I was a member of the planning committee and brainstormed community events to continue and grow studio culture during the period of remote work in 2020.

Worked extensively within Flad's planning studio. Assisted in the creation of institutional and government masterplans. Planning work included diagraming, data analysis/representation, and regional mapping. Architectural work consisted of 3D modeling and detailed graphic sections and rendered plans. Comprehensively pushed Flad's graphic quality in a more contemporary direction and ultimately left the firm with instructions and palettes for the studios to continue implementing. Held and taught instructional seminars for my peers on how such graphical work is produced.

As a summer intern, I was positioned on the FSP design team to help execute the vision of project architects. Highlights of the experience included participating in the discussion and proposing of a projects initial design phase, the laying out of presentation boards, compiling site plan approvals, construction details, diagrams, urban analysis, and acting as mediator between our office to consultants and clients.
