As Inflight Dublin’s Audio Services Manager it was my responsibility for overseeing the Audio Department including the procurement, production/encoding and analogue production and to see that all timelines are met and that my team strive to go above and beyond their duties. I was Inflight Dublin’s lead engineer for the In-House recording studio and possess an excellent understanding of global trends within the music industry.

As Audio Procurement Manager my love for music and musical knowledge really shone through. My duties included creating proposal listings for all of our clients on monthly basis. It was also my duty to procure all forms of audio medium from Albums, Podcasts , Audio Books, Radio Presenters and more. I was passionate in this role and really enjoyed learning about music from all around the globe and also building my skills in dealing with distributors.

As Encoding & Production Engineer I was responsible for editing and mixing audio tracks for in-flight radio programs. I was also pro-active in the creation of radio imagery (stings and sweepers etc.) used to add depth and appeal to our offerings. My duties also included encoding audio for Thales, Panasonic, Zodiac RAVE and Rockwell Collins systems to the correct specifications and ensuring all content was delivered by the given deadlines. I also trained in the Analogue production for all of the Onboard IFE systems.

As Output Engineer I managed the duplication of all analogue audio/video media for Inflight Dublin's clients. I was also responsible for all the equipments maintenance and up-keep. I dispatched our shipments globally and tracked their progress by liasing with courier services to ensure they were delivered on time. I was pro-active and always available to use my skills to help out other departments such as production and engineering.

All Around The World

In 2008 I took a year out and booked a 1-year world travel ticket and traveled the globe including India, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and North America. The experience truly was invaluable for my personal development which I feel has held well in my professional development also.

Mood Media

As head engineer I was the manager of the in-house studio at Mood Media Ireland. My duties included engineering recording sessions in-house and also via ISDN. I was in charge of all equipment's maintenance and up-keep. It was also my responsibility for sourcing VO talents and keeping up to date with industry trends. I was pro-active with our clients and always looking for new and exciting ideas to propose and present.
