A promotion to take up a new role within Zespri will see me responsible for leading it’s production strategy across its global supply business. It aims to provide stability of global supply platforms by way of strong relationship development and personnel support to ensure all fruit produced by Zespri’s grower global base meets Zespri standards. It.

I lead a global team that is responsible for running extension programmes for kiwifruit orchardists that supply Zespri. The focus is on improving orchard profitability through yield and quality improvements utilising sustainable growing practices. This includes the rapid commercialization of new varieties, extending grower and research innovations to drive.

Managed a 10ha commercial research fruit orchard that provides resources to a range of university and government scientists. Crops grown included pone and stone and kiwfruit.

Managed a multi site( 3 x 80acres) research centre that provided support to a team of scientists supporting the Western Colorado agricultural industry. Crops involved included agronomic crops, pome and stone fruit, wine grapes and ornamental and greenhouse crops.
