When people ask about my job I usually say that "if it has a power cord then it probably is something I have to think about." My area of responsibility covers long term planning and support for all hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure. We provide technical training and project management for software implementation. The organization has approximately 1800 employees. On the hardware side we support approximately 14,000 computers and 2,700 tablets. One of the things I most enjoy is working with my team and the "business" to come up with creative methods to improve an existing process.One of the more visible projects I have worked on was a redesign/re-branding of our district website, which was completed last year. We went through a lengthy vendor selection process which really paid off in the end as we found a great partner to help us build out the new site.

My first project at BHC was to assist with converting the current property accounting system (some of which was on paper) to a new system purchased from a third party. Once that project was complete we began work on an ERP conversion from Lawson to Peoplesoft. This was a two year project, my role was that of a project manager for the property accounting/project accounting portion of the project and I also provided assistance in other areas as required. Once this project was complete I returned to more of a business analyst role supporting both Peoplesoft and property accounting.

Responsible for the creation of business requirements, project plans, system test plans, and implementation plans for a variety of systems. Worked closely with management and technology resources to ensure projects remained in scope and on time. Negotiated project scope changes. Typically performed both project manager and business analyst role on most projects. Responsible for managing vendor relationships. • Assisted with converting customer service from a third party system to an “in-house” application, saving considerable annual fees.• Developed correspondence production and tracking for a loan servicing customer service system.• Managed a project to create a home inspection procedure to comply with Fannie Mae regulations.• Performed data mapping and system testing for portfolio acquisitions.

Utilized DMAIC methodology to create new and improve existing business processes. Responsible for the creation and management of a support desk staff that provided technical, compliance, and business support internally for 52 regional offices and externally for 1000 dealerships throughout the country. Inbound call volume averaged 7k/month, with many calls lasting over an hour. • Project manager overseeing the creation of a web application used by Green Tree dealers that allowed them to submit credit applications, monitor the status of existing credit applications, and retrieve loan documents.• Attended trade shows throughout the country to market the online product to customers, and to provide training to regional sites.• Managed all technical aspects of the creation or relocation of Green Tree regional offices.
