As the assistant manager I was responsible for taking care of all aspects of the business from running the morning sales meeting, getting involved in the field sales to recruitment and training.While taking on the extra responsibilities associated with a management position I was still able to retain my position as one of the top 10 field representatives in the country as well as running the most profitable team in the country for over 4 months in a row. Training was at the heart of the job and as such, I pride myself on my ability to understand the goals and skill sets of those I was training to create a bespoke training experience for every single client.

I worked in Drug Discovery as part of a team of Medicinal Chemists with the goal to develop the most efficacious target molecule relating to the current project, working on a prevention/cure for the damage caused by COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).This was done through utilising new and existing synthetic methods to achieve the desired result, in addition to liaising with the team to work collaboratively in order to form opinions and realise the most effective routes to the target compounds.
