• Sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, exchange the mail with account office etc. deposits/payments/other transactions of IPPB.• To assist BPM in postal operations in a manner as prescribed by the Department from time to time.• Marketing and promotions of products and services being provided by Department and operating various services in the Customer Services’ Centres (CSC) of the Department etc.

Activities related to review of design and drawings and construction.• Reviewing / Auditing Safety Plan for Construction and O&M phases.• Supervision of Cost Control, Contract Administration. Assisting in Preparation of Bill of Quantities,Working Drawings.• Supervision and costing of Materials Work Progress Monitoring.• Assist in review the safety and traffic management measures implemented;• Assist in keeping the accident record on the project highway and report to Team Leader forsuggesting remedial measures;• Physical works viz. earth works in embankment and sub-grade, Granular sub base, AsphaltConcrete, Interim bills/invoices, Variation orders.
