THON™ is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world dedicated to raising money for pediatric cancer research and for families that are affected by pediatric cancer. As one of the 20 THON™ photographers, I am tasked with capturing moments of the year-long efforts of volunteers at all THON™ events. The photos are used to raise both funds and awareness.

As editor-in-chief, I am in charge of making all decisions regarding every aspect of the magazine. Some of my responsibilities include recruiting new writers, overseeing the print pitching process, setting deadlines, determining the content and layout of the print magazine, editing the print magazine, delegating tasks to directors, and running both director and editorial meetings. I also write the cover story, which is the largest piece of written work in the print magazine.

As a corporate communications intern, I create media lists and media audits on relevant insurance-related topics. I help write and edit articles that are published on LinkedIn pages of many of the Executive Team members. I also write articles based on Guardian’s research data and pitch them to different news outlets.
