Additionally, I've written, performed on & produced records across many genres. I've contributed to a discography that includes nearly 60 commercial recordings of pop, sound art, ‘new music’, folk, improvisation, ambient & dance music, among those: Stars Like Fleas, Family Dynamics, Leverage Models, Helado Negro, OMBRE (Roberto Lange/Julianna Barwick), Rhys Chatham, Duane Pitre, The Silent League, Will Oldham & CJ Boyd, and produced & co-arranged the studio album for "We're Gonna Die" by Young Jean Lee's Theater Company (feat. David Byrne, Colin Stetson, Laurie Anderson & others). Labels: Hometapes, Nonesuch, Joyful Noise, Ashtmatic Kitty, OMO, Anachronisme, Something in Construction, File 13, Silent Records...As a performer (guitars, clarinets, electronics, banjo, synthesizers/keys & voice) I've toured with many of the above & performed with Ben Frost, Ryan Sawyer, Shelley Burgon, Laura Ortman, Trevor Dunn, Chris Schlarb, etc. My bands have toured internationally, and performed supporting Sharon Van Etten, Son Lux, Lower Dens, Helado Negro, Echo & The Bunnymen, Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear, Gang Gang Dance, Interpol & lots more.As a composer & curator I've been a Jerome Foundation Fellow & Composer-In-Residence at Issue Project Room, an Artist-In-Residence at Harold Arts/8550 Ohio, Curator-In-Residence for John Zorn’s series at The Stone (NYC), Performa Biennial, & presented work at NY MoMA, PS1, Center Pompidou. I founded DIAGRAM.com’s linguistic sound art series. I have commissioned & licensed commercial work, for MTV, AT&T, Sundance Channel, AOL, NYTimes Style Magazine, Vice Media, & composed the runway music for a NY Fashion Week show. My work has been featured in The New York Times, Pitchfork, The Guardian, Wire Magazine, The Village Voice, Paper Magazine, Spin, Paste Magazine, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Vogue, Time Out NY, Bandcamp, NPR, NME, Mojo, Uncut, PopMatters, The Onion A.V.
