Over the 30+ years of working at HighScope, I have been able to build a wealth of knowledge and understanding, skills and abilities that has not only served the work of the foundation but has impacted the lives of children, families, teachers, and educators in the field all over the world.1. The years I spent in the research department, I learned a high level of standards in conducting effective research and applying this to practice for teachers/educators to understand the reasons behind what, how, and why we do what we do for young children and families. 2. The years I have spent in the early childhood department, I have learned working as a team is vital to the work relationship and that relationships are powerful when built on strengths, trust, and partnerships.
