Fall ‘23: Developed inventory system for mid-sized food equipment company to better integrate acquisitions and streamline customer experience Spring '23: Work with a start-up in the sports industry looking to break into a monopolized market. Conducted market research, developed a business strategy for establishing a foothold in the market in question, executed a cost analysis for distribution, and made a final recommendation. Fall '22: Worked with campus study-abroad program to better catalog previous study abroad experience info, and work towards a better process of collecting and maintaining a database of information. Identified useful resources for incoming students and diagrammed process flows for identified pain points to isolate areas of improvement.

Spring ‘22 Project: Navigated legal issues and determining business plans to implement winning engineering safety projects on State Street, as well as mentoring the engineering teams that designed the projects. In particular, I worked with city and state officials to determine the legal barriers to the implementation of the project in question, and worked to determine key IP differentiators for the same product. I collaborated directly with clients and the other members of my team to solve real-world problems. I used data analysis, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills to reach a final recommendation.

Worked with the e3 team in Operations, which focuses on improving business practices to reduce inefficiencies and implement Lean/Six Sigma practices and an operating system. I spent part of my time at the corporate headquarters and part of my time working at a nearby site. This allowed me to gain experience at both a corporate environment and a site production floor.While there, I served as Project Lead for a team of 4, working on improving two sites’ Perimeter Cost refreshes. With one, we used Power BI to visualize over 800,000 rows of site finances, with the capacity for millions more. The dashboard had 13 fully interactive and navegable pages that allowed for a myriad of data views for site and enterprise leadership. This dashboard had hardly any precedent and will serve beyond its primary function of visualization as a template and proof of concept for future implementation at other sites. The work done with the second site was focused on the automation of data processing. I created a process map of their existing process, then used the process map to identify areas for improvement. I then drafted an improved sheet with the goal of simplifying the existing process for the human user and reducing the touch time. I also worked with one of the sites directly in the production floor. My primary project was focused around updating work instructions for 8 assemblies, based on redlines from the floor technicians on the paper copies on the floor, in order to ensure standard work and to make it easier for future techs to join the line. Other projects included developing a shipping manifest as part of a corrective action plan for one of the products following a quality escape and developing an assembly process map for the same product in preparation for the addition of another product to the line/area. To cap everything off, I completed my Lean Basics Certification through L3Harris, and was able to apply many of those skills in my projects above.

-Worked to help to maintain the tech department of a school district of 6000 students across 14 buildings-Developed an inventory for 10000+ assorted devices throughout the district across 14 buildings-Created and implemented a methodology to successfully process more than 1500 assorted new devices into the system in a span of 2 weeks

-Ran my own business model across multiple summers-Built and maintained connections with clients to develop and retain a client base that grew each summer -Analyzed market for lessons to establish attractive price point, optimal times of availability, and potential clients-Taught aquatic abilities ranging from water safety to highly technical aspects of swimming to kids ages 2-13
