After completing my training contract in April 2006 I was admitted under the jurisdiction of the Cape High Court and Cape Law Society. Responsibilities: case load of approximately 200 - 250 personal injury and clinical negligence litigated claimant claims.Managed and worked closely with personal secretarial assistant. Was also a key person in the development and implementation of a claims identification and management process for recovery of RTA costs due to provincial hospitals.Involved site visits, business plan and model development , IT process and package development and meetings with management of hospital, IT developers and external client,national insurance firm, Liberty Life.Knowledge: detailed legal knowledge pertaining to clinical negligence, personal injury and civil litigation.Skills: Communication - business, client , professional, inter team IT: word, excel, Outlook, Case-management - legal suite
