Graduated from nursing school in December of 1999 and immediately started working in the Medical ICU at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. Transferred to the Cardiac ICU at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA in July of 2002 to care for CABG and other cardiac patients. Transferred to the ICU at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA in August of 2011 to care for general ICU patients. Became an RN-Unit Coordinator (permanent charge nurse) for the ICU in April of 2015.
