Ms. Taitt is Chief of the Blood Stem Cell Transplantation Branch within the Division of Transplantation at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). She provides guidance in the administration and planning of the Division’s initiatives with special emphasis on blood stem cell, organ procurement and transplantation policy.

Led the planning, development, analysis and implementation of policies governing the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) and management of the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) contract. These programs are designed to increase the level of organ donation and awareness and to support ongoing evaluation of the status of solid organ transplantation in the United States.
