CurrentClinical Terminology Manager• Manage a team of clinical professionals including pharmacists, nurses, and laboratory scientists.• Team responsibilities include:•Development of the OM1 clinical content model, which utilizes a proprietary OM1 CUI to integrate other terminologies and ontologies (Medispan, GPI, NDC, RxNorm, ICD-10, ICD-9, ICD-10 PCS, CPT, HCPCS, SNOMED-CT, and others), creating a comprehensive library of clinical concepts for use in FDA and other Real World Data (RWD) studies.•Development of key functionalities within the OM1 Data library: -The capability to calculate doses using a variety of methods, using variables that are available in RWD. -The ability to derive scores for clinically relevant assessments and other tools for a variety of disease states (i.e., EDSS for MS, PHQ-9 and PHQ-2 for Major Depression and others)•Standardization of disparate source terms to the OM1 CUI, enabling seamless analysis, regardless of whether data is available in the OM1 data asset as a standard code or as textual information that required mapping. •Maintenance of all maps and definitions in the following domains:-Medications -Diagnosis-Procedures-Laboratory -Specialty and Provider Type-Sex-Race-Ethnicity-Encounters-Financial Class and Insurance-Observations-QuestionnairesOthers•Maintenance of Standards Developing Organizations (SDO) updates, including terminologies and ontologies as well as standard code sets such as AHRQ code sets (i.e. Clinical Classifications Software (CCS/CCSR), Joint Commission value sets, standardized value sets made available from the National Institutes of Health Value Set Authority Center (VSAC)•Manage large-scale projects with Epidemiology and Biostatistics as well as Engineering from beginning through completion.
