As a life-long learning advocate, I am a champion for learners of all ages, races, religions, and communities specializing in learner success and engagement. I am continually teaching, mentoring, and encouraging educators and students to achieve short- and long-term goals. I love nothing more than to cultivate opportunities and optimize success so educators and students can attain the visions they have for themselves.Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats across various levels of academia, from classroom teacher to Staff Development Specialist to Induction Coordinator. I have a proven track record of success in optimizing the adult learning experience, leading and managing a team of educators, and implementing policies and procedures that improve the academic outcome of students. I am passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, and I am driven to create an environment where they can thrive academically and personally.Successes includes:* Recognized for excellence in creating induction programs for over 600 educators in their first 2 years in education through powerful professional learning plans, onboarding processes, and continual feedback and coaching. * Increased new educator’s satisfaction of onboarding and support toward their Colorado Professional Educator License—the only statistically significant increase in the district’s educator satisfaction survey administered by the Colorado Department of Education. * Increased teacher effectiveness through coaching and utilized design-thinking principles to determine teachers’ goals and the impact meeting those goals would have on students. Together, planned a pathway to success, designed and implemented learning and coaching, evaluated progress and success, determined next steps, and repeated until the goals had been reached. Goals and growth plans were also aligned to our school-wide goals and professional development plan.* Improved teacher effectiveness using personalized learning pathways and differentiated instruction for teachers as our school engaged in innovation and transformation from traditional programming to student learning that was more personalized and flexible to meet their individual needs.* Increased teacher effectiveness and student success through extensive feedback and evaluation of teaching using the district’s evaluation rubric. * Significantly improved district evaluation processes by calibrating evaluation ratings and feedback practices amongst teacher evaluators.
