Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois is committed to providing services that directly improve the health and well-being of children, while offering a community of comfort and support for families seeking medical care for a child.

Blue Zones Project is a community well-being initiative designed to make changes to the built environment in the areas of active living, healthy eating, and social connectedness. It is a privilege to lead a local team supporting my community in the pursuit of Blue Zones Community certification. We are working with city government, schools, worksites, grocers, restaurants and individual citizens to maximize policies, programs, and social networks to improve well-being in our city.

Organizational leadership for a community-based non profit providing substance abuse and mental health prevention and treatment services to over 20,000 individuals annually. Served as Co-Interim Executive Director from 2008-2009. Supervised fund development, grants, public relations, volunteer, special events, and community prevention departments. Served as agency spokesperson. Reported to CEO and served on agency leadership team. Authored and managed multiple grant and project budgets. Active role in strategic planning and agency branding.
