Shannon Smith is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive with a diverse range of experiences across the digital landscape. She began her career in 2005 by founding the digital agency, Blueye, which focused on backend development, branding, and UI/UX design. Blueye quickly became one of the first 40 Facebook developer partners and was an early adopter of mobile app development.As the CEO of Blueye, Shannon oversaw the development of large complex systems, design and branding for startups and built an advertising platform off of Facebook's ads platform, which was spotlighted for all of Facebook to see. Shannon also got Blueye into the Twitter ads program to add another ads opportunity to Blueye's ads platform, The Blueye HUB. In 2016, she sold Blueye and went on to work for info.com, a company that owned eContext and Complementics, which focused on machine learning, artificial intelligence and data. Here she helped ideate on the development of the product and productized both eContext and Complementics offering. She worked to create their innovation lab that was focused on a tiered approach for bringing innovation to archaic verticals who needed new technologies outside of their traditional software to truly brainstorm.
